Richard Swift’s Instruments of Science and Technology announce new album

Richard Swift’s instrumental project, Instruments of Science and Technology will release Music For Paradise Armor on July 20th, the latest of Asthmatic Kitty Records’ Library Catalog Music Series.

The folks over at Asthmatic Kitty created this series to, “provide the perfect score to your entire existence,” so naturally, composer/producer Richard Swift’s innate ability to create sounds that soundtrack any number of themes (i.e. 1920’s ballads, 1950’s blues-rock) is a perfect fit. Instruments of Science and Technology is Swift’s electronic solo project, which he has previously used to stray away from his usual ballads and instead emphasize production and ambience. So, what can be expected of the second full length release for Instruments of Science and Technology? Well, “modern clickity-clacks,” “zzzoops s s s,” and “bleep bleep blaaaaap” according to Swift himself. DM Stith created the album art and the 15 tracks are listed below.
