The band’s third LP and proper follow-up to 1991’s Loveless is titled m b v. The album spans nine tracks and is available on the band’s website in various formats: immediate digital download, CD, and limited-edition 180 gram vinyl.
The digital version of the album is available in three file formats: 16bit WAV, 24bit WAV, and 320kbps MP3. The price of the digital download is the same regardless of the file quality and size. We tried to find the price points but the site is still down. Shields and co. are price gouging charging us $16 for a digital download, $22 for the CD + download, and $30.50 for the vinyl + CD + download.
The vinyl has been recorded, mixed and mastered in analogue. It is manufactured on 180 gram vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve with the CD in a card wallet. The vinyl will be limited pressing.
The artwork shown above is still being completed and will be slightly different on CD and vinyl.
