Major Lazer becoming an animated series on Adult Swim

By ; April 11, 2011 at 4:55 PM

Anyone who has seen Major Lazer’s live show can attest to the cartoonish joy that the duo of Diplo and Switch provide, with the irreplaceable hype man Skerrit Bwoy. Their music videos take a more literal approach to this quality, with Tim & Eric’s Eric Wareheim providing imagery to enhance the lunacy that the songs provide. But, if these two mediums weren’t enough to fulfill your Major Lazer visual needs, The Cartoon Network has something for you.

Major Lazer have signed on to become part of Adult Swim, with a fifteen-minute per episode series planned around the artwork of Ferry Goaw, the man behind the album of art for Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do. Above and below, you can see some artwork from the show (via P4K) and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
