Following in the footsteps of Radiohead, Death Cab For Cutie have decided to draft in a bunch of dace acts to remix track from their most recent album Codes and Keys for an EP called Keys and Codes (see what they did there; they remixed the title).
Over the next seven weeks they will reveal a new remix from the EP. When it’s all complete on November 22nd you will be able to buy Keys and Codes in its entirety. However, if you pre-order it now you will get a nice bundle including:
* Keys and Codes Remix EP (CD)
* Keys and Codes all-access pass: as tracks are released, music from the EP will be delivered to you throughout the pre-order!
* Keys and Codes 18″X18″ poster
* Immediate mp3 download of “Doors Unlocked and Open (Cut Copy Remix)”
The guys are not revealing who else they have had remix their songs, so you’ll have to wait and see each week. We can tell you that the first one, Cut Copy’s remix of “Doors Unlocked and Open,” is a good fun, simple potential dancefloor filler. Stream it below.

We talk with Israeli rockers Vaadat Charigim about some of their favorite records.
We talk with Yvonne Ambree and Jesse Barnes of Take Berlin about some of the records which influenced the recording of their debut EP, Lionize.
