You’ve read about it all, and now it’s a case of waiting it out until the 3rd of December for Scott Walker’s new album, Bish Bosch, to drop. You might have expected total silence until then, but lo and behold, we have a teaser of a few tracks. The below clip – directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard – gives us a peak into the in-studio doings of Bish Bosch, in a very 30 Century Man manner. Watch and listen as machetes are run against each other, gongs are drummed quietly, guitar strings are bent, weird horns are blown, and drums skins are rubbed. (My personal favourite moment is when those beads are poured into the dustbin lid.) Suddenly one feels like they know everything about the album, but then, equally as quickly, one feels like they know nothing. Such is the way of Walker’s music. Stay tuned for any more updates.
