Watch: The Baseball Project (ft. Craig Finn) – “Don’t Call Them Twinkies” (live in Brooklyn)

Baseball season is about a month in and, well, the Angels look pretty good! But, regardless of your team allegiance, baseball season brings a time of getting back to the outdoors by spending the day in the sun with your family, or just getting drunk with your friends and yelling at the T.V.

Craig Finn, from the bar-rockin’ band The Hold Steady, wrote an ode to his favorite team, the Minnesota Twins, for the group The Baseball Project’s recent album, Volume Two: High And Inside. Though already featuring a lineup of artists who have varying degrees of successful careers, including Steve Wynn and Peter Buck, this live debut of their Craig Finn-featuring song earns the group its super-group status.

Check out the live debut of “Don’t Call Them Twinkies” (recorded at the Bell House in Brooklyn) below and look for The Baseball Project’s Volume Two: High And Inside from Yep Roc Records, out now.
