While it was released during a surprisingly fertile February, Perfume Genius’ sophomore effort, Put Your Back N 2 It, has held up as one of the most emotionally honest and heart wrenching releases of 2012. Not surprisingly, we here at BPM are big fans of the record. Earlier today, the video for album track “Take Me Home” was unveiled. The video features Mike Hadreas taking a lonely walk down a dark street in heels, showing off a few of his moves, and eating a Twinkie. Again, Hadreas effortlessly evokes powerful imagery through limited means, and adds yet another layer of emotional depth to an already emotional song.
