Prince Rama, if you don’t know, is a duo of sisters who have relocated to Brooklyn to concentrate on their strange and often beguiling music. They’ve completed their fifth album, to be called Trust Now, with the help of producer Scott Colburn, who has previously worked with Arcade Fire and Animal Collective. Today they’ve released two pieces of media; one that showcases their serious side and one that gives you a taste of their fun side. On the serious side we have a free MP3 of the opening track of the album “Rest in Peace.” If that intrigues you then you can check out the video of Woods’ G. Lucas Crane performing another new song from the album, “Incarnation,” in a karaoke form.
