It’s Friday. If you’ve been working all week, then you can be forgiven for needing a little pick me up and we all have our musical go-tos in these instances. But should you find yourself at a loss, then I highly recommend “Crazy World” from L.A. five-piece WALLA. Marrying Justin Vernon-like falsetto vocals to big blaring synths and an essentail drumbeat, you might well find yourself unexpectedly reinvigorated come the chorus. It’s big and syrupy, but like all sugar rushes, it’s irresistible once you’ve had a taste. Needless to say, the band’s forthcoming Nature EP (to be self-released on July 9th) is most probably going to be big. Listen below.
