Listen: TRAAMS – “Flowers”

TRAAMS

Motorik percussion and chest thumping bass break straight from the gate on post punk trio TRAAMS’ latest single, “Flowers.”  Weaving wiry gusts of guitar chug and moody punk attitude with rhythms that display a decidedly pop bent, the band races through the track without ever taking a breath.  There is only the forward momentum and its unceasing locomotion.  TRAAMS may be peddling classic post punk rhythms and indie rock inclinations but they’ve managed to carve out their own little corner where they can share their Wire and Can records with anyone willing to listen. We should be hearing more of the band’s brooding rock when they release their debut LP, Grin, on September 24th via FatCat Records. Listen to “Flowers” below.
