Well, this is a treat. On this Warp-released single, Aluna Francis of AlunaGeorge gets a go atop Rustie’s “After Light”, which appeared on the British producer’s excellent 2011 full-length debut, Glass Swords. Considering the tropical rave bombast of the original production, I’d say Francis had her work cut out for her, but, damn, if the young vocalist doesn’t nail it.
