Brooklyn producer Phaseone is getting ready to release a new album on May 7th via Williams Street Records. Titled If I Tell U, it’s the label’s follow-up to their last release, 2012’s R.A.P. Music from Killer Mike. Forgoing some of the sample-heavy production choices that have been scattered across his past work, If I Tell U is purportedly constructed of all original melodies and material. And if his latest single “Hunter” is any indication, this new record will be something worth checking out when it drops in May. “Hunter” also features vocals from Rachel Brown of Field Mice.
