After last year’s reissues of his two self-titled albums, it was last month announced that Paul McCartney’s beloved 1971 album RAM would also be getting the deluxe treatment.
The details of the deluxe package have today been announced and it is quite a haul indeed. Additional the remastered album, the deluxe package comes with three additional CDs of bonus music (one of which is the album remastered in mono, for those that way inclined), a DVD telling the story of RAM, and a 112-page booklet of photos, lyrics and notes from the recording.
For those who just want the remastered album, that will also be available as a single CD standard edition.
All versions of the album will be released on May 21st in the UK and the following day in North America.
The full track list for the deluxe version is below. If you’re wondering what Thrillington is on CD4, well, it is “an instrumental interpretation of RAM, which was originally recorded in 1971 at London’s Abbey Road Studios and was arranged by Richard Hewson.”
