Though Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are dropping by the U.S. as we speak, the scattering of select dates seems hardly enough for the former Oasis songwriter. And, Gallagher seems to agree as he has scheduled a more extensive return to the States, as well as a huge European tour, for 2012.

Gallagher’s immediate plans feature him seeing the whole of the world, including stops in Japan, Australia, France, Spain, and Italy. But, in late March, he will return to the U.S., beginning March 28th in Washington D.C. and slowly making his way west. It is hard to ignore the fact that he will be reaching the west coast just in time for Coachella. Makes you wonder.
