Prog-metal act Mastodon has been touring virtually non-stop since Crack the Skye‘s release in 2009, and the Atlanta-based group shows no signs of slowing down. Pitchfork recently announced a slew of Mastodon tour dates. The guys are currently in Europe until late February, and afterward, they will fly over to Central America and play packed arenas, opening for Metallica. Pure insanity!
After their trek across the U.S. (with support from Between the Buried and Me, Baroness, Valient Thorr), they will return to Europe and play at the Sonisphere Festival.
