When we recently saw Liars put on a free show in L.A., we were hoping to check out some new material. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen, but news today that Liars are indeed working on their follow-up to 2010′s Sisterworld should mean a new Liars album in 2012, barring any unforeseen complications.
One thing taking Liars away from the recording studio will be the 4th edition of the Sonic City festival happening in De Kreun, Belgium from October 28th-30th. Liars are playing the roles of both curator and headliner, being joined by the Melvins, Washed Out, Factory Floor, and many more. We have the full lineup for you below (note: the first night is a presentation of the film KARP, a documentary about the underground band Kill All Redneck Pricks, directed by William Badgley) and you can click here for ticket information.
