It’s been said countless times – the Smiths will not be reuniting. But ever year, rumors start up usually the months before the festival season begins, and each time Morrissey or Marr are quick to smash the rumors.

As expected Marr shut down recent rumors when he recently told NME “that rumors floating around that the band were reuniting were untrue.” He added that he was busy writing and recording with his new band The Cribs. So much for next year, maybe a miracle will change things – but I think we can all agree, it would certainly take a miracle for them to reunite. Either that or, Morrissey will eat his testicles.
