Prefix Magazine reports that Guns N’ Roses are in the final stages of planning a summer tour of American stadiums. This tour, the band’s first since 2006, will be the first in promotion of the 14-years-in-the-making Chinese Democracy, which was released last November as a Best Buy exclusive.
The band’s current lineup includes frontman Axl Rose (the only remaining member from the Guns lineup that recorded 1987′s hard-rock touchstone Appetite for Destruction), guitarists Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pittman, and drummers Brian Mantia and Frank Ferrer.
