The much-anticipated joint Kanye West-Lady Gaga “Fame Kills” Tour was cancelled today, according to Live Nation. None of the dates will go ahead as planned and all tickets will be refunded. No reason was given at the time of the announcement, nor has one surfaced as of yet beyond rumours.
Murmurs had begun yesterday stating that Lady Gaga had grown tired of West’s antics and did not want to have herself so closely associated with such a “controversial” figure, and that she would “dump” the rapper before the tour began. Expect an all-caps blog post disparaging Lady Gaga sometime tonight.
