Not that it was too much of a secret at this point, but New York rapper El-P will release his third album this year via Fat Possum. Cure for Cancer is our May 22nd and will feature collaborations from Danny Brown, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire and Killer Mike among others. “The Full Retard” is our latest look at the album. It’s got the El-P pedigree, which is to say that the vocal samples are eerie and the production is top notch. I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead is a historical album for modern day hip-hop, so I think it’s safe to say we’re excited for Cure for Cancer.
