Cadence Weapon announces North American tour, premieres “Jukebox” video

Only a few months removed from the release of his wildly inventive and consistently excellent third album, Hope In Dirt City, Cadence Weapon (aka Rollie Pemberton) announced yesterday that he is embarking on a month long tour in support of the record. No matter the venue or how many people show up, Pemberton has a reputation of rocking every space he plays, and The Hope In Dirt City Tour will take the former Poet Laureate of Edmonton and one time Pitchfork contributor across both Canada and the US with supporting acts that include Digits, The Lytics, Fat Tony, D-Sisive, and Mozart’s Sister. As an added bonus, Pemberton used the tour announcement to premiere the video for the sax-heavy “Jukebox,” directed by Cole Kushner. Tour dates and video below:
