Despite persistent rumours that he and Andre 3000 will soon get back together for some new Outkast material, Big Boi has been hard at work on his next album. The follow up to 2010′s Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty will be called Daddy Fat Sax: The Soul Funk Crusader, and today Antwan Andre Patton released a phone-recorded video directly after 10 hours of recording, which you can watch below.
In the video we see that he has a special guest, 2010-11′s voice-for-hire Yukimi Nagano of Little Dragon. While Nagano’s voice may be becoming quite ubiquitous on releases of many genres from Gorillaz to SBTRKT the fact is that every feature she’s done so far has been excellent, and I’m sure this will be no exception. In the video they reveal that they’ve completed two songs, and they seem excited and wanting to release the songs immediately… but we’ll have to wait for the album. Watch the video clip below.
