We had a chance to catch Animal Collective’s Avey Tare on his solo tour last night in Los Angeles and we couldn’t help but noticing that the majority of his set was comprised of new material. So, after scouring the internet, we found decent versions of four of the five new songs he played from various recent stops on his tour, titled “Song For Jerome,” “In Photographs,” “Slow Words,” and an untitled track that people are calling “Sometimes.” They are all interesting listens, with “Song For Jerome” and “Sometimes” being standouts for me.
