Chillwave wunderkind Washed Out (or Ernest Greene, if you prefer) has had a stellar year. Blogs have raved non-stop about his two short 2009 releases, the “Life Of Leisure EP”, and its follow up, the “High Times” cassette. There are plenty of summery gems already in Washed Out’s brief catalogue, but a fairly irrefutable standout is “Belong”, which now has its very own video. Leotards, headbands and trampolines feature. The message? It’s time to get physical.
