
Canadian whizzes Junior Boys continued their near faultless run of introspective indie electro this year, with the splendidly slick Begone Dull Care. It’s been nearly nine months since the release of that record in their homeland, but the tunes are still fresh; hence our excitement at the release of a psychedelic video to the whirring funk of “Bits and Pieces”. Think Yeasayer’s Odd Blood artwork mixed with choreography straight out of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” video. Oh, and it’s all done with glow in the dark effects, too.
