UK-based dubstep producer Peter O’Grady, better known as Joy Orbison, is releasing a new EP called The Shrew Would Have Cushioned the Blow, or simply The Shrew EP, which is set for a February release. There are two original tracks on the EP: the EP’s namesake and “So Derobe.” Track three is a remix of the first track.
The first track makes a vocal hook the focal point, while the second track relies more on a drum kick, making the looped vocals function as accents to the song.
You can stream the EP in full on the Simple Records website.
