New wave London hipsters New Young Pony Club are back in 2010, with a sophomore LP entitled The Optimist. A single has been streaming from their site for the past week or so, but now it’s available for free download. It’s called “Lost A Girl”. If you remember anything from the NYPC debut, you’ll know they do the whole jagged, post-punk pop thing rather well. This new song is less oblique, and more of a straight up pop tune. Try it here.
