Last week Common was being all serious and preachy in his song “Sweet,” while this week he’s gone right to the other end of the scale with “Celebrate”; a light hearted party tune built on bouncy piano. Common sounds like a complete alter ego to the one we heard from last week, perhaps this is the dichotomy that has gone into creating his album The Dreamer / The Believer, which comes out on December 20th.
