Just like Rob Brown and Sean Booth’s tenth full length, Oversteps – spontaneously released a month earlier than its March 22 release date this year – Autechre’s latest ten track ep, Move Of Ten, is available now digitally from Bleep (Warp Records’ digital store) despite its planned release date of July 12.
The album’s physical release won’t happen until the 12th, available as either Digipak CD or 2 separate 12″ vinyls. (The first 12″ contains 4 tracks. The second contains 6.) Preview “y7” from Move of Ten over at Warp. The bizarre balance of cohesive electronic experiments and intentionally disconnected ones begins again. And of course, from a group whose name came partially from random mashing of the keyboard, here’s the tracklisting:
