thanks Kodie for the comment.

narratively speaking, the album is simple. hence, when I say that "Coochie" sums up the album, when it's narrative discusses "hotties", that's going to give a good idea lyrically what is to be expected as well (for the most part. raekwon, jim jones, and some others do some interesting things lyrically but that's a select few tracks). The album does have it's flaws, hence a mediocre score. The album honestly is not about depth or intense artistic merit, it's meant to throw on and enjoy the vibe. Or at least that's what I personally get from it.

again, thanks for the comment. I'd like to see the comments on the reviews on this website to become a bigger part, to expand the discussion and create more communication.

Corey this is a really good review in terms of the sound aspect of recording music. It addresses it well enough that I believe going into it I know fairly well what to expect, and maybe this is because I'm fairly well versed musically myself. But I understand the vibe that is being discussed here. What I'm missing, in terms of the review, is more in how what has been created can be discussed as art, where does it fit in within those particular confines, what is it trying to say narratively, and whether or not that has been accomplished. We gets hints at something more interesting going on here with this album but I would like to really sea yer claims in terms of what the story through the music is. Other than that real nice piece brotha.
